GLSS-Great Lakes Super Sprints
Mintz Motorsports Signs Emerging Driver Graham Huffman for 20-Race Schedule in 2026
Special from Mintz Motorsports: Gibsonburg, Ohio — Mintz Motorsports is proud to announce that Graham Huffman, one of the Midwest’s promising young racers, will join the team for a 20-race schedule in 2026. Huffman will compete at select events sanctioned by the Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) and the Attica-Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) in Ohio.
At just 15, Huffman has already built an impressive foundation in grassroots racing. As a standout in the NASCAR Youth Quarter Midget Series, he earned an astonishing 45 wins in a single season, multiple championships, and the coveted Battle at the Brickyard victory at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He went on to capture a winged micro sprint track title in 2025, earned recognition as a Mazda Spec MX-5 Shootout finalist, and a karting world finals invitee where he’ll compete later this year - underscoring his versatility and steady rise through multiple disciplines.
The 2026 season marks Huffman’s first full campaign in a winged sprint car - a significant next step in his young career. The program also welcomes Mike and Steven Linder, two respected figures in Ohio sprint car racing, who will oversee team operations and driver development. The partnership represents a strategic step forward as the team continues to develop young talent and strengthen its presence in the competitive Ohio sprint car scene.
“I’ve watched winged sprint cars since I was little. Those drivers are heroes to me,” said Graham Huffman. “To now have the chance to climb into one and race at some of the greatest tracks in the country is incredible. I know there’s a lot to learn, and I couldn’t ask for better people to guide me than Mike and Steven Linder. Their experience and approach to developing drivers are second to none, and to do it under Craig Mintz’s first-class operation makes this an incredible opportunity. I’m ready to put in the work and make the most of it with the Mintz Motorsports team.”
“We’re excited to have Graham join our program,” said team owner Craig Mintz. “He’s focused, mature beyond his years, and willing to do what it takes to grow. Running regularly at some of the toughest weekly tracks in the country will give him valuable experience, and we’re looking forward to being part of his development.”
Mintz Motorsports will continue to field additional entries throughout the 2026 season and is currently seeking drivers to fill remaining schedule slots that don't conflict with Huffman’s commitments.
