"Chalk Line Guy" Takes Final Checkered Flag

Merrill, MI - Our condolences go out to Travis Parks family today. Travis has had a long battle with cancer and passed away this morning at home.

Many of you may not have known Travis by name, but you surely recognized him from all the GLSS shows. He was more known for being the turn 4 Chalk Line Guy or you would see him running around the track on his green mule with the American Flag Flying. Travis was the only staff member that had a perfect attendance at all the shows since GLSS started in 2016.

Travis loved sprint cars and being around all the drivers every race. He will be missed by the fans that regularly sat in turn 4 to cheer him on, by all the drivers and his fellow staff members at GLSS. Rest in Peace Turn 4 Guy!
