Sophomore Season Provides Triple the Racing in 2025!
For all those who doubted, Millstream Speedway will continue its comeback in 2025.
Matt & Beth Cogley, new owners as of the 2024 season, were extremely pleased with how their three events went last year.
“Of course we had some hiccups; we were about as green as any promoter could be!” said Beth Cogley. “But we learned a lot, got a lot of great advice, and we are looking forward to an amazing 2025!”
The speedway will host nine events that are sure to thrill fans and racers alike.
The racing will begin on the traditional Sunday night, April 13. That night will feature the FAST on Dirt winged 410 sprint cars and the BOSS non-wing sprints.
Next the quarter mile track will make its season debut on Saturday, May 10 with the first of two Quarter Mile Spectaculars. The FAST on Dirt winged 410 sprint cars and the BOSS non-wing sprints will be joined by the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets – with all 3 classes running the inside track.
“After the 2024 season, racers realized that our inside track wasn’t as small as they thought. It produced great racing for both the wing and non-wing cars last year, so we are looking forward to more exciting shows.”
The Great Lakes Sprint Series will invade Northwest Ohio on Saturday, May 24 with the Great Lakes Super Sprints (360 cu in winged sprint cars) and the Great Lakes Traditional Sprints (the original wingless sprint cars). Also running that night is the Ohio Valley Late Model Dirt Series.
Ohio Sprint Speedweek returns to Millstream Speedway on Sunday, June 15, featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions and the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets. Garner Trucking will sponsor this event.
Ohio Logistics presents another big night for Millstream’s return, welcoming the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Touring Series on Sunday, June 29. In another first, the Attica Fremont 305 Championship Series will be the undercard that night.
The second Quarter Mile Spectacular, brought to you by new sponsor Findlay Chrysler, will feature the Great Lakes Super Sprints, the Great Lakes Traditional Sprints, and the Dirt Track Truck Series, all on the inside track.
In August, Millstream will host two Friday nights – August 1 with the Great Lakes Super Sprints, the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints, and the AFCS 305s.
Hancock Wood Electric presents Friday, August 8 which will be headlined by the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series. They will be joined by the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets, the Dirt Track Truck Series, and the Ohio Thunder Racesaver Sprint Car Series 305s.
Closing out the season will once again be the FAST on Dirt winged 410 sprint cars and the BOSS non-wing sprints on Sunday August 24.
